The Shattered Lands

Region known as the Shattered Lands is a large stretch of land central to the north western continent of Aulandria.

It's principal feature is the huge river Estrelle. The river is some times reffered to as the Black Wash because of the copious amounts of volcanic silt to be found in her deep running waters.

The reason this region has become known as the Shattered Lands is because of the many battles that occur here every spring by the proxy forces of the many great city states that circle the region.

Each spring the City-states battle for control of the vast arrable land on this great plain. They all battle to control [High Guard}, a strategically important fort city at the center of the plain.
