Ritual casting

 

Adepts, Priests, Wizards and Warlocks have the ability to use ritual casting in creating their respective magical affects. This is a class feature of these classes

There are essentially three types of ritual magic;

Ritual Magic

Allows casters to cast spells they have prepared for the day and/or cast spells or prayers with metamagic affects with out incurring the massive spell point cost.

Rules to be spelled out but I am "yoinking" them all most whole cloth out of Relics & Rituals from Sword and Sorcery Studios.

Minor Edit;

For the time being, instead of creating a new skill for ritual casting all classes that have access to this class feature will use the Concentration skill for DC checks.

Additional edit;

No change or increase in material components. They stay the same as per spell description.

Combined Ritual Magic

So far this is a straight "yoink" with no real edits save the ones mentioned above

True Rituals

These are the real big boys. They are spells of such power and majesty that they require many skilled casters working in unison. In addition to the rituals listed Relics & Rituals, many of the core spells in the game have been changed to either True rituals or have been changed to ritul casting only.

 

Since there are no spell casters above 10th level in StormWorld, any spells that MAY exist above 5th level would be considered True Rituals.
